Vicky Brock is a serial startup entrepreneur who in 2019 co-founded her 5th technology company, illicit trade intelligence startup Vistalworks. Vicky and her Scotland and Tallinn based team have developed data technology that helps consumers and their families stay safe from the risk of dangerous, fake and illegal products as they shop online. Vistalworks has developed an Intelligence Service to help enforcement agencies and governments focus their resources to reduce online illicit trade.

 

Previously Vicky founded Clear Returns, named Top Tech Startup In Europe by the European Commission, which produced software to understand and reduce the return rates of large retailers. She has written extensively about those experiences as an entrepreneur on this website's blog, with a series of startup founder-view articles written between 2017 and 2019.

Vicky was named Inspiring Woman of the Year at the 2019 Scotland Women in Tech Awards, Most Inspiring Business Person at the 2017 Entrepreneurial Scotland Awards and won Innovator of the Year at the 2014 FDM Everywoman in Technology Awards. She is an Ambassador for Women’s Enterprise Scotland and regularly talks about technology and startups at conferences and on TV and Radio. These days she is based between Scotland and Tallinn, Estonia.
